Principal's Message

Dear Grizzly Community, 

I am honored to be the new principal of Willow Grove Elementary!

Throughout my career as an educator, I have been deeply committed to creating positive and inclusive learning environments where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and staff members. Collaborating and open communication are key to building a supportive school community, and I am eager to work alongside all stakeholders to achieve our shared goals. 

I have spent 9 years in the classroom with experience in second, fourth, and fifth grades at a STEAM elementary school. I have a strong passion for curriculum and teacher professional development. While in the classroom, I had the opportunity to participate in intensive professional development in the area of Cognitively Guided Instruction with the Cotsen Foundation. This work has fueled my passion for continuing to grow as a professional in all areas. In addition, I have attended reading and writing institutes at Columbia University to ensure best pratices in literacy instruction. I just completed my fourth year as an elementary school administrator. My first two years as an Assistant Principal were served at an elementary school in the Wiseburn Unified School District. My most recent experience has been as the Principal of an elementary school in the Culver City Unified School District. 

I am looking forward to working with you to create a positive educational environment for all Grizzly students. I hope you had a wonderful summer filled with relaxation and fun!
