Coming up this week are our Parent–Teacher Conferences. This is an important opportunity for families and teachers to connect, review student progress, and discuss next steps in learning.
Conference Week Schedule:
• Monday, November 17th:
No School for Students

• Tuesday, November 18th:
Early dismissal at 12:45

• Wednesday, November 19th:
Early dismissal at 12:45

• Thursday, November 20th:
Normal Thursday dismissal at 1:25

• Friday, November 21st:
Early dismissal at 12:45

We sincerely appreciate your flexibility and support in accommodating these schedule adjustments. Thank you for allowing our teachers the dedicated time to meet with families and engage in meaningful conversations about student learning and growth. Your partnership is invaluable, and we are truly thankful for the strong, caring community we have here at Willow Grove.
As we head into the holiday, we want to wish all of our Grizzlies a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving break. We are grateful for your trust, your collaboration, and the joy your children bring to our campus each day.

Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, all TK and kindergarten students will begin full-day schedules on the first day of school along with the grade 1-5 students. This means there will no longer be half-day “Kindergarten Introduction Days” during the first six weeks. TK and Kindergarten students will attend school all day and follow the same start/end times as 1st - 5th grade students

The CA Reading Difficulties Risk Screener (RDRS) is a tool that is used annually with all K-2 students to assess their early reading skills. The RDRS is used to identify students who may be at risk of reading difficulties and need additional support in reading and literacy to ensure success in school. The RDRS screening process will begin in the 2025-2026 school year.
