Mrs. Lynn's Weekly Message
Dear Grizzly Families,
This week was full of learning, growth, and community connection at Willow Grove!
On Monday’s Professional Learning Day, our teachers engaged in powerful training and reflection to strengthen instruction:
• TK teachers collaborated around their new curriculum, deepening their work to support our youngest learners.
• K–2 teachers were trained on a new reading assessment that will provide important data for progress monitoring, guide instructional decisions, and help personalize interventions so that every student can achieve reading success.
• Grades 3–5 teachers analyzed last year’s CAASPP data and reflected on practices that will best support students in the year ahead.
We are grateful for your support of these professional learning opportunities—it is through this dedicated time that we continue to refine our practices and provide the best for our students.
We also had a fantastic first day of Running Club! Students showed so much enthusiasm, and it was wonderful to see our community come together for this fun tradition. Thank you to our parent volunteers and to PTA for sponsoring and supporting the program.
Finally, our Friday Flag was once again a special celebration of school spirit and connection. Thank you to those who were able to join us—it is always a joy to see our Grizzly community come together.
Wishing you all a restful weekend, and we look forward to another great week ahead.
In Partnership,
Mrs. Lynn
